Eligibility Requirements
Possession of a Regular New York City License and/or New York State Certification; Regularly appointed NYC teacher
Selection Criteria
1. Satisfactory performance from September 1, 2025 through June 30, 2026.
2. Excellent attendance and punctuality.
3. Good communication skills
4. Ability to relate in a positive manner with administrators, supervisors, staff, parents and students.
5. Support the mission of the school.
Duties & Responsibilities
● Coordinate mediations
● Coordinate student detentions
● Utilize learning management system software
● Supervision of Cafeteria during student lunch periods
● Conduct hallway sweeps
● Supervise morning entry
● Monitor student progress and compliance of Chancellor’s Regulations as well as C.T.E.A.’s code of conduct
● Provide parent contact and outreach
● Enter OORS reports
● Attend student suspension hearings
● Oversee student supports and intervention
● Monitor the progress of the at-risk students school-wide
● Mentor struggling learners
● Serve as BRT Lead and complete all accompanying responsibilities
● Implement Restorative Practices
● Lead Respect for All/Anti-Bullying Week
● Attend Grade Team meetings and collaborate with Grade Team Leads on next steps for students
Work Schedule
Ongoing throughout the year from September 2026 - June 2027
Pay
Comp Time Position **.4
The pay rate is dependent on the contractual designation and the relevant union or organization, as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
