1. At least one year of successful teaching experience at the High School for Construction Trades, Engineering, and Architecture as Evidenced in Advance (Measures of Teacher Practice)
2. Excellent attendance and punctuality.
3. Excellent administration and organization skills.
4. Success in building positive relationships with students
5. Must be trained in McGraw Hill Corrective Reading Program
Duties & Responsibilities
● Meet with each student on a regular basis two days a week/ two hours a day after school
● Regularly review student progress and conduct efficient PROGRESS MONITORING of students’ progress in either program ● Communicate regularly with students’ teachers, parents, guidance counselor, grade team lead, Assistant Principal
● Maintain logs of interventions provided and outcomes either digital or hard-copy.
● Meet periodically with supervisor to discuss student outcomes and progress.
Work Schedule
4 hours per week: Ongoing throughout the year from 9/2026-6/2027 (after and/or before school)
Pay
Per session rates as per UFT Collective Bargaining Agreement (subject to funding availability)
The pay rate is dependent on the contractual designation and the relevant union or organization, as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
