Selection Criteria
1. One or more years of successful teaching experience at the High School for Construction Trades, Engineering, Architecture
2. Ability to collaborate with students, teachers, administrators, parents and/or guardians, and agencies that provide vocational services to students with disabilities.
3. Support the mission of the school.
4. Excellent administration and supervision skills
5. Experience working with Students with Disabilities
Duties & Responsibilities
● Administer vocational assessments to help students identify their skills, abilities, interests and possible job goals
● Communicate regularly with students and parents and/or guardians regarding post-secondary goals
● Coordinate internships and on the job-training opportunities for students in their field of interest
● Collaborate with agencies, such as ACCES-VR, that facilitate student post-secondary success through their vocational services
Work Schedule
Ongoing throughout the year from 9/8/2025 – 6/28/2026
Pay
Per session rates as per UFT Collective Bargaining Agreement (subject to funding availability)
The pay rate is dependent on the contractual designation and the relevant union or organization, as outlined in the Collective Bargaining Agreement.
